Description:
Responsibilities:
- Your role involves refining, planning, and developingnew frontend features as part of our Pay engineering team.
- You collaborate closely with our designers to consistently enhance design and user experience.
- You develop and maintain robust, efficient, reusable, and scalable frontend components using modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular) is a key aspect of your responsibilities.
- You will get the opportunity to take ownership of projects and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- You will participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and foster knowledge sharing within the team.
- You will troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues and bugs promptly.
- You will mentor junior developers and contribute to the growth of the engineering team.
- ️ What you’ll need:
- You’re an accomplished Frontend Engineer with a track record of web development.
- You have a degree (University/University of Applied Sciences) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- You are proficient in one or more modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular 2+, Node.js.
- You have a strong expertise with HTML5, CSS (incl. Precompilers like Sass).
- You have a good knowledge of web components.
- You have experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
- You are a problem-solver with a “can-do” attitude and an increased attention to detail.
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills. You enjoy working in a team setting and ideally, you’re interested in coaching and mentoring junior members of the team.
- You are fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
