SENIOR FULL STACK DEVELOPER - GAME OPERATIONS PLATFORM

We are looking for a versatile full stack developer to shape the future of King’s Game Operations Platform where teams build applications to monitor, grow and monetize some of the most popular mobile games in the world such as Candy Crush Saga! The platform contains a suite of software products designed to provide a central, high-quality, robust and extensible toolset with a consistent and stable user experience.
The Game Operations Platform team aims to provide a competitive technical ecosystem that allows internal teams to easily build applications and deliver to the platform without worrying about the infrastructure.

SKILLS TO CREATE THRILLS:

• Good experience with React and other frontend frameworks/libraries
• Good experience working with backend services using Java or similar
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and/or RPC APIs
• Familiar with testing frameworks
• A desire to learn new technologies and programming languages across the stack

YOUR ROLE WITHIN OUR KINGDOM:

As a member of the Game Operations Platform team, you will play an important role to influence how technology evolves at King and how King teams develop their internal applications that bring great value to our games. You will work closely with your teammates in an agile environment and you will do product discovery, pair/mob programming and code reviews in GitHub. As a platform developer, you will engage in cross-team collaboration and assist other teams in building applications within our platform.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES MIGHT INCLUDE:

• Develop and maintain King internal tech stack including frontend and backend libraries, frameworks and core APIs
• Improve developer experience, such as self-service tooling, that allow King teams to create and manage their applications
• Develop new features that enhance the experience of our end-users who use the platform to monitor and operate king games
• Co-develop internal applications and libraries with other teams
• Research and drive technology innovations across teams
• Showcasing our work in multiple forums such as presenting in demos, mentoring and coaching other developers through tech workshops and onboarding
