TheRole&KeyResponsibilities:

Ensureahighstandardofdeliverytoclients;Train,appraiseandmotivatetheteam

• Toinvolveintheon-boardingprocessofGlobalApexNAVoperatingoffices
• Primaryday-to-daycontactwithbrokers/custodiansandclientsforthefundsintheportfolio
• AdherencetoandmaintainingtheApexstandardofservice,policiesandprocedures
• Cashandportfolioreconciliationtobankandbroker
• PrepareworkingfilesandNAVcalculationforfunds
• Updatethefundaccountingsystemforfundsintheportfolio
• Useofaccountingsoftware
• Ensuretradeconfirmationwithbroker
• Completionofad-hocprojectsasrequiredbyclientsorreportinglinemanager
• Timelyreportingofanyissuestoreportinglinemanager
• Beproactiveonpromotinganddrivingefficiencyinitiatives
• Recordingofallinvestortransactionsincludingsubscriptions,redemptions,transfers,and year-end procedures
• ResponsibleforthetrainingofJuniorstaff
• Preparationandreviewoffinancialstatementsandmanagementaccount
• Liaisonwithauditoronfinancialstatementstatutoryaudit
• Beanaturalteamplayer.
• Topromptlyreporttoyourreportinglinemanager.
• Abidetointernalcontrolprocedures
• Anyotherdutiesasmaybeassigned
• Organiseandattendboardmeetings
• Processinvoicesandbanktransfersforfundclients,andensureliaisonwithbanksforsettlements
• Preparationandfilingofstatutoryreturnswithrelevantauthorities
• UnderstandingandapplicationofAML/CFTregulationstofundsinportfolioandto investor/client onboarding

SkillsRequired:

• Around3+yearsofaccountingworkingexperienceinFundindustrywouldbeanadvantage
• ACCAqualifiedorpartlyqualifiedoranyequivalentqualification
• ProficientinMicrosoftOfficeapplications.ExperienceonFundaccountingsoftware(either Investran, Efront, Paxus or Allvue) will be an advantage
• Excellenttimeandorganisationalskillstoworkandmeetagreedtightdeadlines
• Hardworkerreadytoputintheextrahours
• Goodinterpersonalcommunicationskills
• Organised,accurateandwillingtolearnandtakeonnewtasks
• TeamPlayer
