Our client, a well-established company providing structural restoration solutions, is looking for an experienced SENIOR GENERAL MANAGER to join their team in a leadership role on a permanent basis. Salary Ranges from $140-150k+ Bonus

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 10 years of on-site experience in Structural and Building Enveloperestoration of high-rise multi-residential buildings.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role
  • Must have an established contact list of Clients, Consultants, Sub-Trades, and Suppliers
  • Specific technical experience includes the rehabilitation of the exterior building envelope(walls, roofs, windows/doors), balconies and guard rails, parking garages, interiorrenovations, and exterior landscape upgrades.
  • Thorough understanding of residential building practices
  • Strong technical knowledge of restoration/construction projects.
  • Is able to manage and oversee the execution of various projects.
  • A strong team player that communicates well.
  • Professional designations in engineering and project management are an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiating, planning, executing, overseeing, and managing ALL assigned active projects and ensuring that the work is done in accordance with project specifications, and on schedule
  • Focus on the development of strong client relationships to ensure their best interests regarding contractual and technical issues and to achieve their business goals and objectives
  • Utilize existing client base to solicit new business opportunities.
  • Reviewing any concerns regarding project specifications during project initiation
  • Develop and nurture new Client relationships.
  • Coordination of contractors, sub-contractors, and other vendors
  • Preparing bid submissions including working with the team to create a project timeline
  • Prepare and anticipate on-site needs for materials and communication
  • Assisting with risk management planning
  • Ensuring that resources are allocated correctly
  • Monitor customer satisfaction throughout the cycle of the project
  • Enforce good work and safety practices
  • Is able to oversee and manage sub-trades and suppliers
  • Time management of head office staff.
