WHAT YOU BRING

• 4+ years of relevant experience and a minimum of an undergraduate degree in Geography, Analytics, Data Science, Business, Urban Planning, Math & Statistics, or another degree combined with relevant work experience
• A working knowledge of ArcGIS Pro, experience with Esri’s ArcGIS Enterprise platform is considered an asset
• Knowledge and experience in data preparation, data analysis, and statistical tool sets including but not limited to Knime, SQL, and Power BI
• Experience with Predictive/Regression Modelling, Python, and R is considered an asset
• Advanced knowledge of data management and visualization
• A proven track record of prioritizing and managing multiple projects with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced deadline driven environment

The Geospatial Data & Analytics team supports the decision-making process across CTC by providing geospatial data, analytics, insights, and GIS expertise. The team is looking for a Senior GIS Analyst to assist with providing GIS Consulting and Product Development services to a wide range of teams across the organization. Reporting to the Manager of Geospatial Data & Analytics, the Senior GIS Analyst will work collaboratively with business partners to develop analysis or solutions that make optimal use of the team’s many unique datasets and helping to drive the adoption and integration of GIS capabilities at CTC.

• Independently lead analytical projects from planning through to presenting to business partners
• Work directly with business partners to understand requirements and recommend solutions
• Able to manage multiple business partners, ensure projects are prioritized accordingly
• Present all analysis to Manager, Market Analysis; AVP, FP&A Decision Support; and various stakeholders in the organization
• Assist in pushing the adoption of GIS capabilities and products to the organization
• Lead and mentor analysts on the tea
