THE ROLE AND THE TEAM

As a Senior Global Art Director (Social Media/Media) in the Creative Direction team you will be tasked to ideate/consult, conceptualise/review and art direct social media always-on-formats and global campaign concepts together with the world’s leading creative agencies. The range of projects varies in scale and type e.g., digital campaigns, Ad Hoc, and support in full funnel campaigns, including owned, bought, and earned media, working across all Zalando markets.
Our Art Directors are to spark creative inspiration, elevate quality, and ensure consistency and on-brand execution across all Zalando touchpoints. They lead projects into uncharted creative entertainment territories without blinking. They extend the visual language, always mindful of how it looks and how it works for the consumer.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND DOING)

  • You have a strong fashion background and are used to developing social and trend- & fashion-driven concepts that will be both engaging and impactful on social platforms.
  • You understand the Zalando vision as well as the needs of our Stakeholders and make them work together to create outstanding creatives in alignment with the Creative Director and the Marketing Teams.
  • Acting as a consultant, guardian and quality control on global & local campaigns, always on formats and editorial initiatives working in close collaboration with the inhouse social media and marketing teams as well as creative agencies.
  • Elevate the quality and consistency of our global creative output across all social media facing touchpoints, ensuring on brand execution, fashion competency and state of the art art buying
  • Develop together with the team lead Zalandos social media Art direction, give clear direction and be the Go To Person when it comes to fashion art direction, motion design and innovative digital formats for social media creative execution.
  • Manage multiple projects at once, both large and small, communicating clearly project prioritisation to leads and stakeholders.
  • Administrate your network on the briefing, delegating tasks, control timelines, and overseeing final quality.
