SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join our expanding design studio, which is part of Meaghers Pharmacy Group, an award-winning community-based pharmacy with ten retail stores across Dublin, plus a busy eCommerce store. All Under the inspirational leadership of Oonagh O’Hagan, Pharmacist, Owner, and Managing Director.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in graphic design or related field.
• Proven experience as a graphic designer with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects across different mediums. Preferably in an agency setting.
• Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow design briefs accurately.
• 5 years experience as a minimum (academic and professional) with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop being essential.
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro an advantage for animation/motion.
• Knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript an advantage.

THE ROLE:

A Senior Graphic Designer who is responsible for creating and delivering high-quality graphic design solutions from concept to delivery for a variety of brands and projects, including marketing materials, websites and campaigns. Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the Graphic Designer should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing.

AS A GRAPHIC DESIGNER, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Developing concepts, graphics, and layouts for projects that align with the brand’s visual identity and mission.
• Creating visually appealing designs that effectively communicate the desired message and drive engagement.
• Collaborating with team members to create high-quality, unique graphics and layouts using industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ensuring that all designs align with the brand’s guidelines and convey the intended message effectively.
• Managing multiple projects and brands simultaneously and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Providing creative input and contributing ideas during brainstorming sessions and design reviews.
• Incorporating feedback from stakeholders to refine designs and achieve desired outcomes.
• Working as an extension of the marketing team to deliver cohesive and impactful visual solutions.
