YOUR MISSION
As Volvo Cars is going to be fully electric company, we are looking for a passionate Health and Safety Specialist with focus on electrical safety. You will work closely with Volvo’s most outstanding experts in electrification. Together, you and your colleagues will be a key players for reaching our goals of being a fully electrical vehicle company by 2030. Amazing, right?
Your mission is to drive the electrification development and is eager learn more and to share your knowledge, as one of our experts in electrical safety. In this unique role you will both be working on developing way of working, procedures and protective equipment, as well as advising on design, product development and manufacturing processes.
As an expert in electrical safety, you will also support and educate team members and managers throughout Volvo Cars in their work to meet legal requirements and be proactive to continually improve the work environment. Your work on risk analysis in areas of development, testing and production of electric vehicle components and cars will have great impact.

YOU, YOUR SKILLS AND YOUR POTENTIAL
As required skills we believe your passion for electrification earned you a BSc or higher in engineering with focus on electrification. In order to collaborate and communicate with our regional and global teams excellent written and spoken English is a must. You are also experienced in personal safety electric installations, have good knowledge in performing risk analysis.
You are expected to have knowledge of work environment and electrical legislation.
In this unique position, we highly value your potential and willingness to quickly grow your competence in electrical personal safety and we are open to connect with all levels of seniority in this field.
REQUIREMENTS:
- B. Sc or M. Sc in electrical, engineering, manufacturing or equivalent education
- Knowledge in electrical legislation
- Competence of leading and working with standards and routines
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both oral and written
- Knowledge of project management and risk analysis work
- Strong enthusiasm in new technology and our products
- Passion for coaching and training
