Description:
MAIN REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate in basic nursing care is advantageous
Responsibilities:
- Support and assist the nurses in the delivery of nursing care in the wards and helps to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for them
- Execute ADL tasks eg feeding, showering, transferring, pottering of residents in the ward
- Take on responsibility of ward safety and cleanliness in wards
- Assist in therapy and Social activities
- Support Volunteers coming to do activities with residents
- Perform simple assessments of resident’s well being and clinical status (vital signs measurements) under supervision of Nurses and MSW/ Care coordinators
- Help Care coordinators to manage the residents’ activity calendar
- Attend to needs of the residents.
- Accompany residents for their outing trips
