Southampton Children’s hospital is a 115 bedded hospital catering for both local and regional children from the Wessex Region including the Channel Isles. Southampton’s Children’s Hospital is a Major Paediatric Trauma Centre in the region.
At University Hospital Southampton, we are committed to providing the highest quality of care to our youngest patients. Our Paediatric Department is renowned for its compassionate and innovative approach, and we are looking for dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistants to join our team.
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Band 3 Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of patient care. You will work closely with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to our patients. As well as ensuring the well-being of our patients and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
As part of this opportunity you will be supported to complete your care certificate if you have not already done so as well as looking at further development opportunities.

We will provide a supportive and comprehensive induction process to enable you to integrate into our team. We are looking for people with excellent communication skills both verbally and written, you will need to be a team player as well as being able to use initiative and work independently as required.
We currently have positions available on our Paediatric Medical Unit, Surgical Ward (G4) and Children’s Outpatients.
