POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide expert HR guidance and support to managers and employees.
  • Update and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and foster a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic HR initiatives for employee engagement and productivity.
  • Conduct HR training sessions for managers and employees.
  • Assist People Business Partner with HR metrics analysis and trend identification.
  • Stay informed on HR industry trends, legal developments, and best practices.
  • Implement industry awards and agreements to ensure fair compensation and benefits.
  • Manage employee lifecycle tasks, including exit interviews and HRIS data entry.
  • Resolve employee relations issues through coaching, guidance, and policy interpretation.
  • Support cyclical HR activities and talent management processes.
  • Participate in strategic HR projects to enhance organizational effectiveness and culture.
  • Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred.
  • Multiple years of HR generalist experience covering recruitment, employee relations, benefits, and performance management.
  • Proven track record in handling employee relations issues and disciplinary actions.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and data management software.
  • Exposure to strategic HR initiatives such as workforce planning and talent management is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage diverse client needs in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws; experience with Banking, Finance, and Insurance Award 2020 beneficial.
  • Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality.
  • Effective communication skills across leadership levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and logical problem-solving abilities.
  • Results-oriented team player with a focus on improvement opportunities.

As a Senior HR Advisor for Compare the Market, your role is crucial in providing trusted guidance to leaders and employees.
