Position Summary
As a Senior HR Analyst, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing the relationships with our external vendors and partners. You will also leverage your analytical skills and business acumen to support various projects and initiatives that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our HR function. You will work closely with other HR teams and stakeholders to understand their needs, deliver solutions, and ensure alignment with our strategic goals and values. In addition, you will mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance, support, and feedback to help them develop their skills and achieve their career goals.
Responsibilities

HR Vendor Management:

  • Manage the relationships with external vendors and partners that provide HR services and solutions, such as payroll, benefits, recruitment, engagement, learning and development, etc.
  • Negotiate contracts, statements of work, service level agreements, and pricing with vendors and partners, ensuring alignment with HR budget and objectives
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and quality of vendors and partners, using metrics, surveys, feedback, and audits
  • Resolve any issues or disputes that arise with vendors and partners, escalating them when necessary and implementing corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and contractual standards and policies for all vendors and partners
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of vendor and partner contracts and services, identifying opportunities for improvement, cost savings, and innovation
  • Collaborate with other HR teams and stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements for HR services and solutions, and communicate them to vendors and partners

HR Project Management:

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with HR goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage project resources, including team members, vendors, and partners, ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables.
  • Monitor and track project progress, risks, and issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and results to stakeholders and senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and evaluations, identifying lessons learned, best practices, and opportunities for improvement.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree AND
  • In addition to bachelor’s degree, three (3) years minimum of related work experience

Desired Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in HR
  • Advanced degree
  • Prior HR vendor management experience
  • Prior HR workforce administration experience
  • Project related work experience
  • Utility experience
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, stakeholders, and senior management
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions

  • M - F, 2 - 3 days per week in office
  • Performs work in normal office environment
  • Hybrid mobility classification - work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable commute to Duke Energy Plaza.
