Responsibilities:
HR Business Partners at Dyson play an important role in facilitating and leading strategic change. Reporting to the market Head of HR, you will provide effective HR business partnering to leadership teams and key stakeholders. The role is key to enabling our business model.
Our market teams are responsible for taking Group strategy, applying their local expertise and experience and delivering world-class products and service to our owners. From e-commerce to supply chain, marketing to finance, the ANZ teams work together to learn from each other’s’ strengths, share successes and constantly reinvent and transform Dyson’s presence on their countries. ANZ is one of our well-established APAC markets and a key part of our APAC business.
This is a fixed term contract up to 12 months.
Main responsibilities include but not limited to:-
- Drive employee engagement in your business areas and across the ANZ market, facilitating employee feedback gathering and associated action planning
- Develop and integrate the people dimension into business plans and support delivery of the global People strategy. Highlight the implications of business goals and ensure plans are in place to tackle risks, challenges and opportunities over the short and long term. Ensure the right capabilities, frameworks and ways of working are in place to deliver plans
- Spot opportunities, review and reshape how the functions are set up and operate, to support their growth and increase their global effectiveness at sensible costs
- Support/oversee/lead transformation, restructuring or cultural change projects as needed
- Lead the talent agenda for your business areas, understanding key talent, their strengths and development needs. Provide the framework for talent reviews and develop succession plans for key roles
- Develop and champion high-performance culture across your business areas
- Work with teams in your business areas to identify skill and capability gaps and relevant, creative L&D solutions as per the 70/20/10 learning principle
- Work with Centres of Expertise to ensure effective hiring strategies and build the Dyson employee value proposition locally
- Ensure quality, customer focused, pragmatic and efficient HR support across your business areas, manage complex ER cases, spot things to fix and be proactive about driving efficiencies
- Contribute to progress of the overall people agenda and relish the opportunity to pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role
