Are you looking for an opportunity to make a strong contribution to an industry leading company? OUTOKUMPU team in Krefeld is looking for a (Senior) HR Business Partner (m/f/d). This is a strategic role that has freedom to contribute locally and is also highly supported by the Global HR organization. Our HR Business Partners are passionate about their work and help deliver positive change every day within the globe!
Our Human Resource Business Partner team is therefore looking for a Partner to drive the people strategy and be the sparring partner for the respective business and to ensure high performance and efficiency of the organization by managing the HR processes.

INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Contribute to defining the HR plan and implement it;
  • Act as a trusted sparring partner and advisor for the business;
  • Ensure clear alignment and roll out of people processes across the organization (incl. performance management, employee engagement surveys, talent management, compliance processes, etc);
  • Cooperate trustworthy with respective employee relations bodies, in particular the (Krefeld) Works Council;
  • Ensure that the business is appropriately resourced for current and future needs by workforce planning and recruitment;
  • Take the lead in local talent acquisition in alignment with Outokumpu’s talent management and diversity targets;
  • Advise and give input to development programs within Outokumpu;
  • Ensure holistic talent review of key resources to determine performance vs potential, succession and young talents;
  • Identify and develop the right capabilities and competences for future business needs incl. trainings;
  • Drive change initiatives from HR point of view;
  • Support leadership development;
  • Ensure consistent application of the Compensation and Benefits policies and processes.
    You will be based in Krefeld, Germany, reporting to Anne-Mieke Boltersdorf, Vice President of HR Business Partners for SE Germany, the Netherlands, and the Rest of the World. In this role, you will collaborate closely with local stakeholders in Germany and be part of the local management team. (We are hiring with the future in mind, and after a few years, there will be opportunities for further development within our international organization.) Occasional business trips to other group companies may be required.
