Description:
As our Human Resources Consultant, you will: - Coordinate the provision of accurate and timely advice and consultancy services to the department’s management and staff, focussing on delivering effective HR solutions that support a high performing, flexible and constructive work environment.- Coordinate and provide a range of generalised operational/transactional HR services to the Corporate Services business group.- Collaborate with the managers and team members of People and Culture to provide quality advice to executives, management, staff and stakeholders by monitoring, triaging, sourcing, and coordinating responses to a wide range of HR enquiries.- Maintain sound knowledge of current HR legislation, awards, certified agreements, directives, policies, and procedures to support the timely and evidencebased advice and service delivery outcomes.- Access HR information systems (e.g. Aurion, Employee Self Service [ESS], TADPOLE [time keeper], Power BI [data visualisation tool]) for reporting purposes, to undertake research and provide advice.- Develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with work colleagues, senior management, central agency networks, and internal and external stakeholders.
