Description:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Knowledge of the Employment Act and local practices and regulations in Singapore.
  • Experience in the logistics industry is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with proficiency in English and Mandarin to liaise with counterparts in China HQ.
  • Excellent multitasking skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on, well-organized, self-driven, and able to work independently while being a good team player.
  • Ability to start on short notice is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key contact for employee grievances and concerns.
  • Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees and management.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Offer guidance and support to managers and employees on performance-related issues.
  • Develop and streamline HR services; identify and resolve HR issues within the business unit as needed.
  • Support the implementation of HR strategies and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore labor laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on legal changes and industry best practices.
  • Manage work pass applications, renewals, and terminations.
  • Assist with completing Ministry of Manpower (MOM) surveys.
  • Draft, review, and update HR letters, notices, and announcements.
  • Address insurance inquiries related to Group Hospital & Surgical, Group Personal Accident, and Work Injury.
  • Recommend and implement adjustments to benefit and compensation packages.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Generate HR reports to aid in data analysis and decision-making.
  • Ensure data privacy and confidentiality.
  • Lead and manage the HR team.
  • Assist the Line Manager with any other ad-hoc HR duties as assigned.
