My client is a global manufacturing company with a unique opportunity to head up the HR division of the Irish entity. You will report to the Group HR Director (UK) and manage a team of high-performing HR associates. The ideal candidate will be an operationally strong senior HR professional with leadership experience, coming from a manufacturing background or similar.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in leading HR positions
- Highly knowledgeable of local employment regulations/compliance
- Strong understanding of fast-paced manufacturing business operations
- Leading example of someone who can provide guidance and support, motivate a team while fostering a positive work environment
- Experience in senior stakeholder management in order to implement HR strategies that align with wider organisational goals
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of high-performance HR associates at varying levels
- Develop, maintain and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and processes
- Coordinate career development initiatives through L&D, succession planning and employee engagement
- Assist stakeholders at all levels to ensure operational success (coaching, cultural initiatives, HR best practice)
- Administer compensation plans that support recruitment and retention objectives
- Assess training and developmental needs of employees, developing supervisory training programs
- Ensure organizational compliance in line with local legislation
