Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Coordinator who is capable of working well independently and as a member of our team and who understands the importance of confidentiality and discretion. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented. Great opportunity for an HR professional seeking personal and professional development in diverse areas of HR.
Onsite, Full-Time Position. Monday-Friday. Our schedule is currently flexible, with a start time ranging from 7:30am-9am. Please note that Scheduling may be subject to change in the future.

Duties for the Senior HR Coordinator role include:

  • Take initiative to respond to general inquiries
  • Process promotions and status changes for employees in ADP
  • Oversee new hire process and audit for compliance and accuracy
  • Maintain personnel files, confidential medical files, and payroll files for all employees while keeping employee records organized and maintaining strict confidentiality
  • Process pre-employment background screening
  • Follow up on Form I9 and E-Verify compliance
  • Lead in the administration of Workers Compensation claims
  • Process Verification of Employment
  • Respond to unemployment benefits inquiries from the State
  • Collaborate on recruitment efforts for all employees; write and place advertisements; collaborate with managers to screen and interview candidates
  • Assist in screening applicants for vacant positions
  • Create/improve SOPs on processes and procedures
  • Train management on new and current policies along with any law updates that pertain to their center
  • Lead onboarding for new store openings
  • Ensure/audit that all locations remain in compliance
  • Performs other duties or special projects as required or assigned

Qualifications include:

  • 3-4 years related experience required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook (or equivalent)
  • High School Diploma requested
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material and maintain confidentiality
  • Self-motivated, focused, positive attitude and proactive
  • Excellent spelling, grammar and editing skills required
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to perform well independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with all levels of employees
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must possess strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations
  • Decision-making, problem-solving, self-motivated, and extremely organized

  • 2 weeks of paid vacation will accrue each year during your first 3 years of employment. After 3 years of employment, 3 weeks of PTO will accrue during your employment. After 5 years of employment, 4 weeks of PTO will accrue during your employment.
