Description:

Exciting opportunity for a strategic and hands on Human Resources professional. The Senior Manager of Human Resources is responsible for creating an engaged and productive workforce through the direct management of a team of HR professionals. The scope of this role spans all human resource practice areas, including Hiring, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, Safety and Worker’s Compensation. This is an on-site position for a casual work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bilingual Spanish fluency preferred but not required
Bachelor’s degree or relevant certificate program in HR or related area
7+ years in HR field, preferably with exposure to broad generalist experience
Knowledge of employment law and regulations (federal / state / local)
Understanding of HR principles and best practices
Experience configuring and enhancing HRIS systems such as ADP or Paychex to deliver HR services
Proficiency analyzing data, creating formulas, pivot tables, charts in an application
Proficient creating content with Office365 apps like SharePoint, Word and PowerPoint, consuming data through analytical tools and using Teams to schedule and host events
Relevant professional accreditation from SHRM or HRCI a plus

Responsibilities:

HR Team Leadership : establish meaningful goals, milestones and tasks for the HR team that support or drive the goals of the organization
Executive Engagement : partner directly with Chief Executive Officer and their direct reports
Partnership with People Leaders: support leaders from executive to line-lead in performance management, progressive discipline and terminations, job structure and labor planning, and development. Partner with managers at various levels of the organization to develop people plans that move the organization forward
Day-to-Day Support : support employee inquiries regarding pay, timecards, benefits or other topics
Optimization : evaluate HR and people-impacting processes to eliminate non-value adding tasks and continually create capacity for the HR team to take on new tasks
