Shared Medical Services is a growing, employee-owned provider of imaging services across the Midwest. That makes our leadership of our people functions—talent acquisition, compensation, workforce planning, performance management, engagement, and professional development so important.
We’re looking for an efficient, hands-on Senior Human Resources Manager who can guide SMS’s HR function as well as take primary responsibility for employee relations and policy administration for a largely remote workforce. Job duties include:
- Oversight of all HR functions including payroll, benefits, employee relations, and compensation. Partners with the Talent Acquisition manager on recruiting and onboarding employees.
- Provides guidance to business leaders and managers on all employee relations issues.
- Tracks HR metrics and reports trends to senior management along with recommendations.
- Drives benefit renewal process. Works to keep benefits and policies competitive in a tight labor market.
- Oversees HR Admin team which includes the payroll coordinator, benefits coordinator and credentials function.
- Helps to resolve employee questions and concerns
