QUALIFICATIONS AND CORE SKILLS:

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure data integrity and high-quality
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Independent, self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision while setting priorities and adapting to multiple demands
  • Advanced analytics capabilities to support recommendations with data-driven findings, including advanced Excel skills
  • 3+ years experience in HR human resources, preferably with a toy and gaming retailer
  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills (French and Spanish are plus)
  • Strong team player, takes the lead when required, and is supportive when needed
  • Able to work under pressure and meet timelines with minimum supervision

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full cycle of on-boarding and offboarding for head office and stores
  • Provide recruiting support including but not limited to job descriptions and postings, screening resumes, phone screening candidates, writing up candidate profiles for presentation to hiring managers, participating in interviews with various hiring managers, reference checks, drafting offer letters, onboarding support
  • Provide administrative support for the head office
  • Assist with HR-related inquiries, including employee relations, HR training, and policy-related questions
  • Monitor and track of performance of employees, conduct research, analytics, and reporting, and present recommendations
  • Support drafting, reviews, and updates to corporate policies and coordinate the deployment of these policies and appropriate training across the organization
  • Analyses trends and metrics to develop solutions and programs to enhance employee retention and engagement
  • Support payroll team if needed
  • Other HR related tasks might assigned
