Description:
This is the role: Senior HR Manager
The Senior Human Resources manager will ensure the efficient administration and management of the Human Resources function.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day administrative functions to ensure smooth operations
- Effectively provide front-line HR support to meet the needs of Reliance’s employees and managers on all HR-related issues.
- Provide guidance on complex HR issues, organizational structure, talent acquisition, retention, and workforce planning. to executives and leader
- Act as a resource to all Reliance employees for matters related to any HR functions
- Manages all recruitment processes: create job postings, short-list candidates, lead job interviews, complete reference checks and prepare and extend employment offers to successful applicants
- Facilitate the annual performance appraisal process for full time employees ()
- Coordinate and manage all Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) claims
- Hold responsibility for accurate processing of payroll
- Respond to inquiries and act as the subject matter expert on policies, compliance and employment regulations, working conditions, work relations, employment laws, opportunities for promotions, and employee benefits
- Coordinate and participate in the onboarding and offboarding processes
- Lead organizational culture and values initiatives
- Update employee records in the HR information system
- Contribute to the company’s external outreach efforts (job fairs, etc.)
- Performs other duties as assigned.
