YOUR NEW COMPANY

You will be joining one of Sydney’s most reputable air conditioning contractors which provides integrated building, engineering and HVAC solutions nationwide. They operate in the commercial sector of the Sydney market and are looking for a driven individual to join their team. A large portion of the work you would be completing would be in the Sydney CBD and surrounding areas, but you would be expected to travel to other areas as needed.

YOUR NEW ROLE

This is a great opportunity for a senior technician, as they are looking to bring someone experienced who can support some of the more junior technicians and somebody who has strong people skills who can help assist with the organisation of staff and be their point of contact. This is still a role which is on the tools, but for the right individual, there is a real opportunity to develop their leadership skills and move into a more senior supervisor position and assist the service manager in the coordination of the team. Your general responsibilities would be as follows :

• Performing maintenance and service tasks of a variety of HVAC commercial projects and this also includes working on data centres.
• Attend breakdown and service call-outs
• Both internal reporting and general service reports for clients.
• Instruct and supervisor apprentices/junior technicians.
• On call work (This is usually for 1 week every 4–6 weeks)
• Great communication skills
