Responsibilities:

SCOPE OF THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced industrial engineer to help us develop meticulous solutions that serve fulfillment processes and operations nationwide. The ideal candidate will have a natural drive to improve processes and lead dynamic projects that improve the way we fulfill orders and deliver to our customers. Provide support across multiple Distribution Centers and project teams to ensure execution of operations and project tasks, tracking deliverables and reporting which support the overarching fiscal and operational goals of BCP.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Analyze existing systems and processes and identify value-added and non-value-added activities to solve design challenges.
  • Conceive, design, develop, and test innovative solutions based on analysis and organizational objectives.
  • Evaluate new and existing processes, equipment, and materials as an input for scheduling, waving methods, performance metrics, and financial standards.
  • Uphold the company’s reputation by delivering innovative solutions while adhering to local and national regulations.
  • Manage and conduct employee training for productivity improvement projects, and mentor Subject Matter Experts on any improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for preventing waste and inefficiency during production.
  • Research and test design ideas to determine feasibility, utilizing lean manufacturing, kaizen, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis to formulate and support innovation, corrective actions, and improvements.
  • Design and develop robust manufacturing concepts to simplify and improve processes and ensure best practices.
  • Create and maintain required documentation for processes, including flow charts, capacity and utilization studies, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis, and line balancing.
  • Collaborate with managers, cross functional teams and leaders, internal customers, and functional leads, and to provide daily direction and guidance to junior associates.
  • Operations primary stakeholder of Operational and WMS integration, identifying system improvements for optimal operational performance.
  • Super User for homegrown WMS functionality and operational performance
