The Boeing Company is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Industrial Security Specialist (PERSEC) to join their team in Mesa, AZ. This role will support multiple programs and activities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 5+ years of experience dealing directly with government customers
- 5+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership
- Experience working with the National Industrial Security Procedures and Operations Manual (NISPOM)
- 5+ years of experience with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experience
- Experience with the Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07, Volumes 1-4
- Experience with the Director of Central Intelligence Directives (DCID) and/or Intelligence Community Directives (ICD)
- 5+ years of experience with Personnel Security (PERSEC)
- Experience with SIMS Software
- Experience with NBIS
TYPICAL EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years’ related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Provides authoritative guidance to leadership by advising on personnel security policies, procedures & regulations to determine impact of new or changing policy and implement process improvements.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Enterprise Service Center.
- Implements government policies and company security processes & procedures.
- Investigates, analyzes, and resolves complex questions and issues pertaining to PERSEC and service center activities.
- Assist in the protection of government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures.
- Provides leadership, mentoring, guidance, and training to less experienced personnel.
