SENIOR INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST (CISSP) -£55,000-£62,000+UP TO 35% BONUS
My client are a Global giant in the Retail world in home furnishings. The group is made up of a number of companies with a top UK brand at the heart of it based in Nottingham.
Due to continued growth and an ever changing world they are looking to boost their Cyber Security with a few roles. One of which is that of a Senior Information Security Analyst (CISSP) which can be largely remote with only occasional trips to the office for large meetings etc.
As the Senior Information Security Analyst (CISSP) you will be responsible for monitoring, operational and incident response activities within the Cybersecurity program as assigned by the Cybersecurity Operations Director.
On a daily basis the Senior Information Security Analyst (CISSP) will be responsible for:
- Monitor Cybersecurity tools, systems and processes including: logging, IDS, IPS, endpoint protection, web filtering, MDM, DLP, patch management, vulnerability scanning technologies, etc.
- Investigate alerts according to documented processes and escalate incidents according to the Incident Response plan.
- Partner with Cybersecurity Engineers, IT infrastructure, and IT operations teams to help identify gaps, strengthen security controls and integrate them with IT operations practices.
- Develop and maintain Cybersecurity documentation as appropriate for deployed tools, workflows, and the Incident Response plan.
- Participate in annual compliance certification and all related controls and documentation management as required.
- Interfaces with user community to understand business needs, implement security best practices, and identify opportunities for improving security and compliance.
