The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to join our Global Trade Controls team. This position can be located in Tukwila, WA; Auburn, WA; Everett, WA; Mesa, AZ: Hazelwood, MO; Berkeley, MO, or Seal Beach, CA.
This person will serve as a trusted advisor to Information Technology and Data Analytics regarding export trade control regulations and the controls that should be applied to systems and data to ensure compliance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 5+ years of experience with information protection, security, assurance, cybersecurity, or other relevant system and data protection professions
  • Bachelor’s of Science degree in computer science

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Master’s degree in computer science
  • Aerospace and Defense industry experience
  • Familiarity with export compliance practices

TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years’ related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead development, maintenance, management, publishing and communication of export information protection requirements, standards, procedures, and tools
  • Oversee the development, maintenance, management, publishing and communication of export information protection training materials
  • Support system owners in the analysis and adoption of export information protection control requirements as part of the system lifecycle process
  • Provide export control guidance to Information Technology and Data Analytics (IT&DA) partners in support of IT projects involving cloud, AI, and other advanced technologies
  • Lead efforts to document, manage, and communicate non-US export information protection control requirements (e.g. India, Brazil, UK, China)
