Description:
As a Senior IT Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization’s IT infrastructure and systems. You will lead technical projects, provide guidance to junior engineers, and ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our IT environment.
This role requires to be on-site a few times a month as well as on an as need basis.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience in IT engineering, with a focus on systems administration, infrastructure design, and project management.
- Proven experience designing and implementing complex IT systems and infrastructure solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong technical proficiency in server administration (Win, Linux, Solaris), virtualization (HyperV, vmWare, Containers), networking, and storage technologies.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such particularly Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as Azure, Racskpace, AWS and GCP
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), CCNA, ITIL, IBM, MCDST, BICSI are a plus.
