Description:

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina. Our client is a technology company focusing on edge computing infrastructure, aiming to improve the efficiency and performance of distributed networks. A distributed edge cloud platform that combines colocation, networking, and interconnection services to deliver low-latency applications and services closer to end users. This interconnection platform allows for the direct and secure traffic exchange between networks and cloud providers at the edge. They provide colocation facilities explicitly designed for edge computing, offering space, power, and cooling for edge servers. High-speed, low-latency network services are designed to support edge computing applications, including 5G, IoT, and real-time data processing. The company has corporate headquarters in Austin, TX, and about one-third of the team works there, but most of the team is highly distributed. • Champion the integration of modern networking technologies and strategies to bolster the platform’s security and efficiency. We are looking for software engineers in two broad focus areas to help support the efforts to build the AI platform. We’ve detailed some skills for Infrastructure & DevOps Engineers and UI/UX Engineers in continuing to develop the AI platform, leveraging the data centers’ current and future computing resources. This team will work with the latest innovations from NVIDIA, including the ARM-based Grace Hopper superchip, to enhance and maintain the infrastructure underpinning the AI platform and its associated services. These engineers will work across multiple concurrent projects, including an existing product, “Metal As A Service,” and a new product, “Container As A Service,” both GPU/AI product offerings under the AI branding. Additionally, these engineers may be asked to work on internal proof of concepts and channel partnership projects, including some work with generative AI & computer vision. Engineers on this team should collectively emphasize automation, performance, resource efficiency, and system reliability. They will expect detailed documents and artifacts for all projects worked on, which should be reviewed weekly or bi-weekly with engineering leadership. While there are current practices in CI/CD in place, the client will ask this team to own the end-to-end deployment process and modernize it with best practices.
