GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the capabilities of our Azure environment and internal systems used to support the day-to-day operation of SkillsWave and its employees. You will be tasked with implementing automation solutions that help stabilize and standardize our environment as well as increase the speed of our ability to deliver services to our employees. The Infrastructure Engineer will manage the automation pipelines by which our software for servers, laptops and other internal systems are maintained and secured.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for building world-class infrastructure and a track record of success creating highly available, scalable, automated, distributed systems. You will need strong systems experience, including with AWS and Azure, excellent interpersonal communication, and experience accepting and giving meaningful feedback on technical designs and implementations.

SKILLS

• Experience in implementing Enterprise Architecture strategies that positively impacts the business outcomes for SkillsWave
• Operational knowledge cloud-based infrastructure
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and react to infrastructure outages
• Knowledge of capacity planning.
• Knowledge of ITIL, Change/Incident Management.
• Strong predilection for automation.

EDUCATION RECOMMENDATIONS:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience with cloud-based infrastructure hosting. (Azure preferred).
• Experience configuring and administering MDM Solutions, Active Directory, Office 365, SCCM
• Experience with the managed services on cloud-based infrastructure.
• Proven experience with monitoring infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of advanced networking security and design
