Our Digital & Information department deliver a range of IT and business support services to UK SBS and our clients, covering the IT Infrastructure & Architecture, Business Support Services, Data & Analytics Services and Digital & Automation Services and Supplier Management.
This role is part of a team of Infrastructure Engineers responsible for ensuring the integrity, reliability and performance of our core infrastructure platforms. You will be involved in the ongoing management tools to collect and report on load and performance data and statistics. You will also work on producing and updating core technical documentation and supporting in major incidents as required.

To do this role well you will need:

• Qualification or proven experience within professional field
• Knowledge and experience of continuous improvement
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructures, OS platforms, hardware, storage and networks.
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure platforms and software including but not limited to:
• Windows Server
• VMware - vSphere, vCenter, Distributed switching.
• Enterprise shared storage – Pure Storage, Netapp, Tegile/Intelliflash
• Enterprise backup software – Veeam preferable
• Operating and support cloud-based platforms and services, such as AWS and Azure – including:
• Azure Virtual Desktop
• Azure Conditional access
• Azure VM and App services

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

To be considered, you will need to successfully obtain BPSS clearance before commencing the role, obtaining clearance usually takes 5-10 working days.
UKSBS does not hold a Home Office Sponsor Licence under the UK Immigration System, therefore applicants must have eligibility to live and work in the UK at application stage.
