This role is responsible for servicing and growing a book of business as well as handling more complex risks or lines of business. This role will also serve as a technical mentor and company ambassador to more junior staff and serve as the first point of escalation.
We may also tap into your experience and passion to support the Manager with the creation, monitoring of processes, procedures, workflows, training, or special projects as necessary. This role will also be an ambassador of the company, the culture, and serve as a change champion

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be RIBO licensed.
  • Must have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience working in a brokerage in personal lines; having commercial lines experience is welcomed.
  • Must have prior working experience with TAM.

Responsibilities:

  • Service a book by performing all aspects of the customer life cycle (quote, new business, remarketing, endorsements, renewals, cancellations).
  • Help grow the book of business through various means such as cross and upselling, referrals, targeted marketing, lead generation, sourcing, etc.
  • Serve as the liaison between clients and insurance carriers.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of risk and underwriting information to ensure accuracy and optimal insurance solutions for your clients.
  • Take new claims reports and submit them to the insurance carrier; coaching staff through the claims process.
  • Provide technical guidance, product knowledge, and technology support to more junior staff.
  • Serve as the first level point of customer and carrier escalations, engaging the Manager as necessary.
  • Provide support the Manager as required in the achieve of the goals for the brokerage.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with carrier partners, vendors, suppliers.
