THE OPPORTUNITY
BDA is looking for a highly experienced and enthusiastic Senior Integrated Planning and Scheduling Specialist to provide technical leadership and support across a number of complex campaigns, programs and new business initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to join our central BDA IP&S capability team who support a range of large scale and multi-disciplinary campaigns, projects and programs across our national business.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong negotiation, communication and organizational skills
- Extensive experience in Project Planning, Project Scheduling, Earned Value and Performance Management Systems in a commercial environment.
- Demonstrated track record of leading a successful execution team within a large and complex project/program.
- Thorough understanding of critical path analysis and the ability to tailor information and data for presentation to various stakeholders and levels of management.
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Leads, directs, facilitates and ensures integration of campaign, project and program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically.
- Supports execution of overall campaigns, programs and new business objectives as an integral member of the campaigns and programs you support and value ambassador of the PM Function / IP&S capability.
- Leads studies/analysis and planning efforts within and/or across programs to determine impacts, constraints and plans involving product development, process improvement, and program initiatives.
- Strategically analyse and provide forward focused program performance reports and risk based advice to various stakeholders and levels of management. Develop and implement recovery plans, as necessary.
- Lead and perform planning and scheduling activities in accordance with Boeing Program Management Best Practices and other associated industry standards (i.e. PMI, PMBOK and the like)
- Leverage cross-subsidiary teams, relationships, capabilities and resources to ensure timely decision making, issue resolution and help needed.
