My client is a highly respected Architectural practice working on a diverse range of public infrastructure projects. They are extremely passionate about delivering socially and environmentally sustainable design outcomes in all the projects that they’ve won. Due to an enhancement in project pipelines, my client is now seeking for a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer/Architect who is passionate about the role of architecture in the community and dedicated to delivering projects that are meaningful.
Your new office is based in East Melbourne surrounded by parks, close to public transport, and a short walk to the city. Responsibilities:
YOUR NEW ROLE
You will assist in multiple project teams and have a significant impact on a range of significant Education, Health, Sport, and Community projects in the public sector.
The successful applicant:
- Will have a minimum of 5–8 years’ post graduate experience in the local environment as an Interior Designer;
- Be a proficient REVIT user; • Collaborate with other Senior Architects and Directors;
- Ideally have experience working on any Civic or public community projects;
- Be able to articulate goals and achievements in delivering positive social and environmental outcomes;
- Have a passion for working collaboratively;
- Demonstrate significant experience in a client facing role;
- Be a great listener, open and welcoming of new ideas and better ways of doing things;
- Possess a strong attention to detail;
- Demonstrate outstanding design, detailing and project management skills;
- Possess excellent time management and effective delegation skills;
- Be able to independently lead project teams with minimal oversight;
- Display ability to effectively manage external consultant teams.

Remuneration will be negotiated relative to qualifications, demonstrated skills and relevant experience.
