QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree.
• Possess or are working towards Chartered Professional Account (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or equivalent.
• 2-3+ years of auditing experience.
• Experience with publicly listed companies required to comply with Ontario Bill 198 / NI52-109 or Sarbanes Oxley.
• Demonstrated skills in client relationships.
• Team player and able to work independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to grasp a holistic view combined with attention to detail.
• Proficient written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives.
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic to learn and contribute to achieving internal audit function and organizational goals.
• Ability to travel to AGI locations is required when such travel is determined to be of value. Such cases are generally expected to be infrequent.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Senior Internal Auditor, you will play a key role in planning, executing, and reporting in internal audits, per IIA standards, and evaluating internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) as part of AGI’s 52-109 program. The proportion of time spent on these responsibilities will be based on priorities and evolving Internal Audit function capacity and capabilities.
