Description:
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Senior Investigators hold a position of trust within the Department and they are required to work autonomously and with limited direction.
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate an extensive knowledge base in relation to the requirements of fraud investigations, and also be able to work in accordance with departmental policies, procedures and the Australian Government Investigation Standards.
The Senior Investigator works under the direction of the Principal Investigator, Fraud Investigations, to conduct complex fraud investigations (internal and external) and provide feedback to the Principal Investigator in relation to system/process gaps and business improvement opportunities.
ELIGIBILITY / ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for employment with Department of Social Services (the department), you must be an Australian citizen.
