Description:

The Star Entertainment Group (TSEG) is a publicly listed company on the ASX. Our purpose is to create fun at trusted destinations and our aim is to deliver sustainable outcomes for our guests, our Team Members, the communities in which we exist and our shareholders. We do this by providing entertainment, gaming, and leisure experiences in a safe, responsible, and ethical way. We will do this by embedding our values to lead the organisation with a focus on safer gambling and good business practices.
Our properties across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sydney are world-class with many award-winning hotels, restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues.
The Senior Investigator reports directly to the NSW Investigations Manager and conducts investigations and reviews written and oral complaints and inquiries on matters of concern to all areas of the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you can manage and conduct investigations for employees and patrons.

Responsibilities:

  • Pro-actively liaise with the investigation units of other Casinos, Law Enforcement Agencies and Regulatory Bodies for intelligence purposes and to keep abreast of any developments within the gaming industry.
  • Mentor and lead the investigative tasks of the department’s Investigations Officers and occasional employees including, for example, secondees.
  • Maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality relating to sensitive information.
  • Report on activities that potentially pose a threat to the integrity of the operations and casino statutory obligations.
  • Review existing data sources to proactively identify areas of concern to tighten processes and policies, with the goal to limit misconduct at its source.
