Our client, a leading investment research house, is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality managed funds product research to financial advisers. The successful candidate will have the chance to work across a range of asset classes and managed funds products.

WHAT YOU BRING:

The ideal candidate will ideally have experience working within a research house, stockbroker, financial advice firm or fund manager in an analyst function.

  • Previous experience (minimum five to seven years) working with a research house, stockbroker, financial advice firm & fund manager.
  • Strong ability to synthesize and distil financial information down to key concepts
  • Strong organisational and time management skills - Meet deadlines and coordinate various tasks at a time
  • Strong understanding of investment markets and asset classes
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Investment Analyst, you will be at the forefront of providing high-level managed funds product research.

  • Analyse and conduct research on managed funds products within the relevant asset class
  • Coordinate with Investment Managers and other Analysts for review meetings
  • Undertake reviews of Investment Managers as assigned by the Sector Manager
  • Prepare Fund Profile, Fund Viewpoint, Fund Review and other research reports for new and existing managed funds products
  • Communicate with external clients to address specific queries and needs
  • Contribute to the integrity and evolution of the research process
  • Provide content to the daily bulletin email and being involved in the broader business
