    Come join our Mobile Engineering team at LFS, where innovation meets im! You will be working to design, develop, and maintain iOS applications from prototype to operational maturity. You will be responsible for establishing our native engineering practices, ensuring that we are building scalable, robust applications that delight our customers.
    You will enjoy rapid prototyping, experimentation and be enthusiastic about lean UX and delivery practices. You will ship code as early as possible to maximise learnings from customer feedback and will quickly adapt to both qualitative and quantitative feedback.
    You are a thought leader in your domain, confident in mentoring and coaching more junior engineers. You’ll be a passionate advocate for your work, who is happy to help build Latitudes’ presence in meetups and blogs.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Build native iOS applications - scalable, robust, secure, delightful
  • Assist in maintaining a solid with CI/CD process
  • Evolve Latitude’s native engineering practice - culture, practices, standards, ceremonies
  • Data focused, ensuring that the we’re always collecting data and generating insight
  • Create reusable patterns and work with our UX lead on codifying our design language
  • Work closely with our full stack engineers on overall solution design
  • Produce prototypes and POC’s to validate assumptions
  • Continually identify new technological innovations that can be integrated into the Latitude business to provide commercial value.

Ideally, we’re looking for the following:

Experience & Knowledge

  • Substantial experience in the development, test and deployment toolchain, with a wealth of iOS specific development.
  • Strong Swift and RXSwift/RXCocoa skills
  • Computer Science or related degree, with evidence of being a thought leader and keeping up with the latest trends and news.
  • Experience developing apps that integrate with backend and third party services.
  • Extensive experience developing applications
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Experience across the full software development lifecycle: analysis, development, testing, configuration management, deployment and release.
  • Any relevant education, training and evidence of self-development
