QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, proven comparable qualifications with extensive experience as a system administrator or in a similar field.
- Advanced proficiency in Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune and Microsoft applications.
- Advanced proficiency in current Windows Server operating systems including Active Directory and it’s services
- Experience with Linux and MacOS servers/desktop environments is beneficial.
- Proven experience managing virtual infrastructure like MS Azure, VMWare or Hyper-V.
- Experience in managing network components and services, firewalls and VPNs
- Experience in software distribution and automation of administrative tasks
- History of implementing IT security measures and compliance guidelines.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong consulting skills with a customer-first approach.
- Comprehensive system monitoring capabilities and first-rate 3rd level IT support.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, good team player
Responsibilities:
- Management and maintenance of the IT infrastructure and its applications, including MS365 services
- Automation and maintenance of processes to increase operational efficiency.
- Overseeing data and application backups, recovery and systematic recovery testing.
- Ensure continuous real-time monitoring of all operations to prevent potential issues.
- Proactively resolving system issues and implementing regular system updates.
- Implement and monitor IT security measures and compliance policies.
- Maintain and expand comprehensive IT documentation.
- Supporting the Service Desk team in handling technical requests and providing third-level support for complex issues.
- Work with various departments to provide tailored IT support and advice.
