Description:

DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking an IT Analyst, providing on site IT support within a Business unit and act as customer liaison for all IT services impacting the site.

Our IT professionals play a vital role as strategic partners, capable of enacting value-adding change through standardisation, differentiation, and innovation.

Responsibilities:

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will be responsible for:

  • Successful delivery for IT solutions will include the coordination of central IT functions and coordinating and communicating with site operational colleagues. This will include local change management and incident coordination.
  • Play an active role in IT project delivery for the site, act as a site IT SME providing end user service to enable the effective use of IT.
  • IT Service Management - delivery and maintenance of ITSM processes in operations and to manage service performance to defined standards and SLAs.
  • Support the management of IT products.
  • IT Implementation - support and delivery of IT solutions, services, and processes.
  • IT Change Management - support and run all local site changes and release management, using required predefined tools and processes, for IT systems.
  • Internal Customer Relationships - lead and co-ordinate relationships and communication with business partners.
  • External Customer Relationships - support communication with external customers as appropriate to support business development and existing operations.
  • Communicate and coordinate any local site IT incidents with customer IT helpdesk and support teams.
  • Training and Documentation - maintain required IT documentation for training and testing procedures.
  • Ensure that DHL IT Strategy and Governance is adhered too.
  • Ensure knowledge and compliance to Health and Safety procedures for the team (if appropriate) ensuring training for all team members is kept up to date.
