Stoneridge Software is looking for a motivated and responsible Senior IT Engineer to join our growing internal IT team. We are looking for someone who is comfortable diving into new problems, enjoys collaborating with a team and provides excellent customer service. The Senior IT Engineer will serve as a core part of our Help Desk function and will have the opportunity to learn and work within many different systems and technologies. A key part of the role will be working on and resolving internal support cases, but there will also be occasional focused project work.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant degree or recent experience working in Information Technology
• 3-5+ years of related IT or help desk experience
• Professional understanding of managing computers, users, applications and licenses
• Excellent and demonstrated customer service experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English
• Strong individual and teamwork skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Professional knowledge of computer hardware and accessories (including printers), Active Directory, Microsoft Entra and Microsoft 365 administration
• Proven experience identifying and improving processes within a team setting
• Ability to effectively make procurement decisions within a defined budget
• Travel Required: Incumbent is expected to travel between our office locations and may be asked to attend industry events from time to time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Business Applications, such as Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), PowerApps, etc.
• Basic knowledge of information security best practices
• Basic knowledge of networking and system administration
  Work Location: Hybrid in Fargo, ND or Minneapolis, MN; Incumbent is expected to work in office 2-3 days per week.
  Travel Required: Incumbent is expected to regularly meet with client teams across the United States and Canada will be asked to attend industry events from time to time.
