WHAT WE NEED

  • Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructures, including Cisco LAN, WAN, data center, IoT edge networks, as well as Azure cloud networking
  • Troubleshoot network issues and outages in a timely manner, working closely with other IT staff, vendors, field services, and engineering as needed to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
  • Implement and support network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
  • Design, deploy, and maintain wireless RF networks, including Wi-Fi, Digi, and other emerging wireless technologies
  • Conduct site surveys and analyze RF propagation characteristics to optimize wireless network coverage and capacity
  • Perform spectrum analysis and interference mitigation to ensure optimal wireless performance and reliability
  • Monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for improvement or potential issues
  • Perform network capacity planning and traffic analysis to ensure optimal performance and scalability
  • Document network designs, configurations, and procedures to ensure accurate knowledge transfer and compliance with industry standards
  • Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network infrastructure hardware and software including routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, gateways, wireless, and related equipment
  • Make recommendations and participate in the evaluation and selection of networking hardware and software solutions
  • Provide off hours support for maintenance and scheduled shutdowns as required

You will leverage your expertise to optimize network performance, ensure reliability, and support the growth of our product and client success. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with networking, wireless, and security equipment, a willingness to be hands on in a product manufacturing environment, and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
