Tasks
- You significantly contribute to making our web-app better by writing, testing and reviewing code and bringing it to production
- In order to be well-prepared for upcoming features you participate in the planning of development tasks. This way you can influence what new features will look like early on
- You work on the scalability of our web-app by constantly looking for possible improvements in existing and newly emerging microservices
- Our employees should grow with us. You are a constant learner and have meaningful impact on our tech-stack so that we keep on dealing with millions and billions of data points
- A highly motivated team of developers, dev-ops engineers and data scientists is waiting for you
Requirements
- DevOps mindset, and willingness to learn new things
- You are “growth-driven” and like to solve complex problems
- You are reliable, willing to learn and self organised
- You have a passion for clean, readable and efficient code
- You value the big picture more than single isolated solutions
- You love to take “ownership” and accompany features from concept to go-live
- 2+ years in the development of web applications
- Excellent knowledge of RDBMS
- Experience with Java EE, Spring or a comparable framework
- Experience with NoSQL datastores is a plus
- Experience with cloud services (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure, …) are a plus
- Fluent in Englisch (German is a plus)
