Responsibilities:
- Routine data collection and analysis involving sample preparation, instrument control, performing measurements and routine tests according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform new and repetitive laboratory operations in coordination with local supervisor.
- Carry out chemical and physical tests on specifications of chemical Raw materials and packaging materials.
- Assist set-up of equipment for mixing laboratory and pilot scale batches of experimental or established chemical products.
- Perform routine and safety program checks and preventive maintenance on instruments.
- Record observations and findings and assist in writing experimental reports, summaries, protocols, and appropriate documentation in lab notebook.
- Comply with all safety standards, including adequate use of proper personal protective equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace by following cleaning and housekeeping standards.
- Manage chemical and packaging inventory of lab, sample order and disposal.
- Maintain product data in internal databases under supervision of RDE-OI project managers.
