Description:

Eyes Now is a private optometry practice seeking a professional and dedicated Senior Lead Optometric Technician to join our Dallas/Irving team. The primary function of the individual in this role is to ensure the efficient and productive flow of the daily function of the clinic. Further this individual will be responsible for supporting medical and administrative staff in any and all aspects.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to motivate; provide guidance; be flexible; exhibit a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues; maintain a positive and professional environment; and show a willingness to collaborate with colleagues’ and support the overall success of the team.

Duties:

  • Staff Scheduling, Management, Training and Development - includes only non-medical staff
  • Human Resources Administration - includes timecard quality assurance, and performance evaluations
  • Budget Management, Medical Billing and Collections - includes collaborating with financial services to ensure the quality and completeness of medical billing, inventory management, and production.
  • Patient Experience Management, and Marketing Administration - includes collaborating with marketing services to ensure the quality and completeness of marketing efforts; and ensuring the quality of patient experience as tracked by patient feedback.

Experience:

  • Previous experience as an optometric technician or in a similar role preferred
  • Previous experience in a management role preferred
  • Familiarity with medical coding and billing procedures
  • Knowledge of retail math for sales transactions
  • Experience with electronic health record systems, such as Revolution EHR, is a plus
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
