WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Over 5 years of relevant experience with product or user research in enterprise-facing or high-growth companies and some experience in hands-on design.
• Previous experience in a SaaS environment or working on complex web-based enterprise applications, in particular enterprise user research and design.
• Previous experience working in a start-up/ scale-up or fast growth environment, eager to embrace changes, iterate quickly, see challenges as opportunities.
• Previous experience achieving meaningful impact (moving the needle of a key business or product metric) and being able to make good decisions based on business context, product data and user understanding.
• Confident German speaker, able to conduct interviews in German.
• Proficiency in Figma and other design and prototyping tools, backed by a strong grasp of design fundamentals.
• A strong portfolio that showcases your skill in product design, user research, and your ability to tackle complex problems with strategic design thinking.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Researcher and Designer to join our team. This role is perfect for a creative and analytical product person with a strong background in user research within enterprise-facing startups or high-growth companies, as well as hands-on design experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for understanding enterprise user needs and translating them into actionable design solutions that drive success.

YOUR ROLE IN OUR TEAM

• Conduct user research to uncover insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points, especially in enterprise contexts, and utilize these insights to inform product decisions and build great products.
• Be a trusted partner to product managers, and collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders to conceptualize and implement design solutions that meet business and user needs.
• Demonstrated ability to creatively engage with enterprise customers and overcome challenges in sourcing research participants. This includes a proven track record of devising and implementing innovative outreach strategies.
• Demonstrated experience in embracing changes and thriving in a fast and agile start-up-like environment, expect to iterate quickly and often, building on each customer conversation rather than treating research as discrete “projects”.
• Leverage your SaaS or enterprise-facing background to inform research techniques and design decisions, ensuring our products not only meet user needs, but also make business sense.
• Design and prototype with a focus on responsive and adaptive design principles, ensuring a seamless and accessible user experience across all devices.
• Utilize Figma and other design tools to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, incorporating feedback to refine the product continuously.
• Mentor other designers and product managers on user research methodologies, while staying close to product and design trends to drive continuous improvement.
