Description:

We are currently partnering with a leading client based in Dubai who are going through a period of change and expansion within HR, as part of this change they are now seeking an exceptional leadership level Learning & Development professional who will lead the design, implementation, and management of comprehensive learning and development strategies. This role is pivotal in creating tailored learning solutions that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our customer-focused workforce. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in L&D, a deep understanding of adult learning principles, and a passion for driving organizational success through innovative and effective learning initiatives.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive L&D strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Lead the L&D team in designing and delivering impactful learning programs that support our customer-centric approach.
  • Identify learning needs through collaboration with department heads, managers, and employees.
  • Create and implement tailored learning solutions, including e-learning, workshops, on-the-job training, and coaching, to address specific skill gaps and enhance overall performance.
  • Ensure all learning initiatives are designed to improve the customer experience and align with the company’s customer service standards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning that emphasizes customer satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Establish metrics and evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of learning programs.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze learning outcomes, making data-driven adjustments to improve program quality and relevance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the L&D team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Manage external training providers and partners to ensure the highest quality of learning solutions.
  • Develop and manage the L&D budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Source and implement the latest L&D technologies and tools to enhance learning delivery and accessibility.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in learning and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing successful L&D programs in a customer-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous and proven experience in the MENA region.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into effective learning solutions.
  • Proficiency with L&D technologies and learning management systems (LMS).
