LHH Recruitment Solutions is excited to partner with a leading company who is seeking an experienced Senior Learning & Development Manager based in the Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global organisation.
In this hands-on role, you will be supporting the Chief People Office and leading the L&D function with a global focus on Talent & Succession Planning, Customer Service & Sales, and apprenticeships. You will have the opportunity to establish effective ways to deploy organisational development, learning & development, and talent development best practises into the business, aligning them with the overall business ambition.

WHAT SKILLS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Ideally MCIP Qualified or equivalent HR / Learning & Development qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in L&D management, organisation development, and talent development.
  • Customer-focused with a strong commercial awareness to deliver outstanding results.
  • Experienced in project planning and management.
  • BPS level A or B certification.
  • Proficient in psychometric testing for recruitment and management development, with a deep understanding of coaching methodologies.
  • Proven leadership experience, managing multi-functional teams and working collaboratively with others.
  • Experience working with employees within a large organisation, supporting various client groups.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and managing successful L&D programmes.
  • Strong track record in senior stakeholder management.
  • Comfortable in complex and changing environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment within the business and implement key elements of Organisation, Learning & Development, and Talent Development into the business plan.
  • Collaborate with business leads and directors to develop strategic business strategies.
  • Lead and drive the L&D and Resourcing teams to provide exceptional support and deliver impactful results.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive company culture.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of key L&D programmes and capability frameworks.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to ensure that interventions are strategically aligned and deliver maximum impact across the organisation.
  • Design and implement leadership and management development programmes.
  • Support Executive and Board effectiveness, optimising performance and collective effectiveness.
  • Personally lead the development of key talent and successors to ensure readiness and reduce role failure.
