Our opportunity
As Senior Lease Administration Manager, you will play an integral role in the retail leasing management process. The SLAM is required to provide commercial and legal advice through negotiations to all stakeholders involved, whilst building collaborative relationships with key personal. This role is required to manage the lease administration process effectively and efficiently from reviewing of offer documentation, facilitating approvals and delivering on lease execution.
This role is a 9-month fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities:

Review signed HOA, prepare LAF and submit for approval by internal/external stakeholders.
Instruct and engage with panel lawyer in the administration of lease documentation, managing performance to minimize turnaround time.
Ensure lease documentation is prepared and negotiated in accordance with company policies and procedures
Review and issue Disclosure Statements to retailers
Effectively manage the timely return of all leases and associated documentation prior to retailer trade date
Provide retail legislative advice to asset and leasing teams including lease interpretation and compliance with Retail Leases Act, under consultation with panel lawyer as required
Contribute to improving processes, legal precedents, and template documentations
Assist with Due Diligence discovery and collating notices for Centre teams
Issuing weekly lease administration reports noting current status of lease matters
Your point of difference
To be successful in this role, you will have relevant tertiary level qualifications and prior experience working in relevant Investment / Asset Management roles. You have previously managed teams and have sound knowledge across legislation and policy standards pertaining to Retail Leases Act. You are an exceptional communicator with a proactive and self-motivated approach to solve problems, improve systems and procedural efficiency. You will be required to collaborate within the Commercial Property division and across Mirvac Group, and sharing learnings with employees and leveraging their experience. Experience managing stakeholder relationships is a must as you will be required to build effective and professional relationships with tenants, external lawyers and colleagues.
